Who we are

This is the landing page of Speedup Tournament Manager (speeduppb.com), an online platform for running pickleball tournaments. For anything in this policy, write to babsremoreras@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you send us a request. If you use the "Request a demo" form we receive your name, email address, how you'd like to be contacted (phone, WhatsApp or Telegram) and that number or handle, what you need help with, and your optional message. It is delivered to our inbox through Web3Forms, and we use it only to reply to you. The form uses hCaptcha to block spam, which may check your browser and IP address and may set its own cookies. If the form can't send, your email app opens with the message filled in instead.

Analytics, only if you accept. With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits. It records which page you viewed, roughly where in the world you are (country and city), your device, browser and language, how you reached the site, and whether you opened the request form, submitted it, or clicked a WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger or email link. It never receives what you typed into the form. We don't use advertising features, remarketing or Google signals.

Hosting. This site is hosted on GitHub Pages, which, like any web host, sees your IP address and browser details when you load a page.

We don't sell your data or show ads.

If you decline (or ignore the banner), Google Analytics is never loaded and none of the cookies below are set.

Not a cookie: a note in your browser's local storage that remembers whether you said yes or no, so we don't ask on every visit. It stays on your device and is never sent to us or to Google.

Your choice

You can accept or decline analytics when the banner appears, and change it whenever you like. Withdrawing consent stops the measurement and removes the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.

How long we keep things

• Analytics data is kept in Google Analytics for 14 months, then deleted automatically.
• Messages from the request form are kept for as long as we need to deal with your request and follow up, then deleted.

Who else handles your data

• Google (Google Analytics), only if you accept. Google processes the data for us and may do so in countries outside the Philippines, including the United States.
• Web3Forms and hCaptcha, when you use the request form.
• GitHub, which hosts this site.

Your rights

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), and similar laws elsewhere, you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to how it is used, and withdraw your consent. Email us and we'll respond. If you're unhappy with our answer you can complain to the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).

Changes

If we change this policy, the new version goes on this page with a new date at the top. If we start using anything that needs new consent, we'll ask again.
